UnLIMBited Prosthetics is a community-powered platform making customized lower-limb prosthetics accessible to people in low-income and underserved communities. Using open-source design, digital limb customization, and a global volunteer network, UnLIMBited connects amputees with nearby makers who can locally 3D print and deliver affordable prosthetic devices. By turning simple limb measurements into personalized prosthetic designs and matching users with local volunteers, UnLIMBited removes cost, distance, and access barriers – helping restore mobility, independence, and opportunity, one limb at a time.
